Cycling through the Savinja Valley
Take a bike ride past the picturesque pastures of the Menina planina nature reserve, along the scenic Solčava panoramic road, or along the mostly flat side roads between Mozirje, Nazarje, Ljubno and Gornji Grad. Mountain bikers will get their money's worth on a varied descent from the Golte plateau.

Hiking through the Steiner Alps
The high mountain group, which has numerous nature reserves, is a true hiker's paradise. Its highest peaks rise more than 2,500 m above sea level and can be reached via well-marked hiking trails. Conquer the Grintavec, the Ojstrica, the Brana and the Storžič.

Water pleasures on the green Savinja
The Savinja River rises above the Rinka waterfall in the Steiner and Sanntal Alps (slow. Kamniško-Savinjske Alpe). It is 102 km long and has the character of a torrent.
On hot summer days, the Savinja River is the ideal place for refreshing water fun for the whole family. Or take a fun and safe canoe tour on the crystal clear Savinja. Even experienced kayakers should be aware of the difficulty levels of individual sections of the river and explore the river according to their abilities.
