Cerje
Experience the majestic view from Cerje of the sea, the Alps and the picturesque villages spreading like wings on the hills of Črni hribi, where the trees move in the bora wind and where wind-dried ham or prosciutto ripens. Mount Cerje is located on the long-distance hiking trail, also called the Path of Peace. On the top of the mountain there is a 25-meter high lookout tower, which is considered a monument of peace and connects the present with the past. It is intended to draw attention to the senselessness of wars. Moreover, from Cerje you have a beautiful view of the Vipava valley, the Gulf of Trieste, Friuli and vineyards in Brda. In autumn the panorama is picture perfect and the bright colors take your breath away. Maybe you feel like a nice autumn hike from Trstelj to Cerje.

Slavnik
Slavnik is a 1,028 m. high mountain near Koper in the extreme southwest of Slovenia, in the Primorje region. In autumn, the karst beach flaunts fire colors. Over a length of 20 kilometers, the magnificent panorama extends to the colorful landscape of the Karst and Istria and connects cozy villages that, despite their apparent modesty, can show themselves. The beautiful view from the top of Mount Slavnik is definitely worth it, because in good weather the panorama stretches from the Adriatic Sea, to the Julian Alps and even to the Dolomites.

Mountain ridge Kolovrat
The ridge Kolovrat offers a spectacular panorama of the Julian Alps, the emerald green river Soča, the Friulian plain and the Adriatic Sea at any time of the year, even in autumn. Here stands the open-air museum with the remains of the Soča Front, which raged in this area during the First World War. Kolovrat is located on the long-distance hiking trail called the Way of Peace.

Ojstrica
You can see the picture-perfect view from the hill above the southern shore of Lake Bled. From Ojstrica you can admire the spectacular panorama of the lake with the island, Bled castle and the peaks of the Karavanke mountains in the background. Bled and its surroundings are immersed in warm colors in autumn and mysterious fog sometimes transforms this magnificent view into a breathtaking scenery.

Peč nad Bohinjem
At the top of Peč nad Staro Fužino you have a great panoramic view of the idyllic lake Bohinjsko jezero and the surrounding peaks of the Julian Alps. You won't need much time and energy to reach the viewpoint. As a reward, one of the most beautiful sceneries awaits you, which shines even more colorfully due to the many shades of autumn colors. If you wish, you can continue your tour to the top of Rudnica.

Jamnik
Jamnik is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Slovenian Alpine region and therefore very popular among hikers. Choose the trail coming from the blacksmith town of Kropa or the trail coming from Nemilje. However, the village on the slopes of the plateau Jelovica can also be reached by car.

Piramida
If you want to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Maribor covered in autumn colors and its surroundings, you should climb the hill Piramida. The vine-covered lookout point is a popular place for locals and visitors where you can escape from the city bustle, if only for a moment. It only takes half an hour, but if you want to prolong your escape into nature, the trail continues west along the ridge.
