Spring panorama and biking in the Alps. Especially good and early in the year around the South Tyrolean towns of Eppan, Kaltern and Tramin.

As soon as the sun peeks out from behind the clouds, it becomes pleasantly warm and spring arrives.
Whether GPS tours or guided MTB weeks with cycling professionals, here bikers can prepare for the season.

Already in March, spring in the sunny south of South Tyrol makes bikers' hearts beat faster.
Varied trails through beautiful vineyards over gently sloping sunny slopes past historic residences to challenging high-altitude rides, there is something for everyone. A classic for the introduction is the small round around the Kalterer See, as painted this lies embedded between the vineyards. A 17 km long bike route with 320 meters of altitude difference, which leads from Kaltern through the Lavason valley to the lakeshore, along beautiful vineyards and along the lake shore, which is still wonderfully quiet in March.

If desired, the bike tour can be extended to the two Montiggl lakes in Eppan, past the spring valley, in which thousands and thousands of snowdrops and mullein flowers are already blooming in March. A special natural spectacle. This route is not only loved by bikers who cycle relaxed into the new season. Here also families and people who want to be on the road in beautiful nature without extreme efforts find their destination.

Leisurely is well possible and sporty is of course also possible- around Eppan, Kaltern and Tramin.
You have the choice. South Tyrol's landscape has everything to offer that is attractive for cycling vacationers - wide and sunny valleys, proud mountain peaks and hilly passages. An ideal training ground and vacation pleasure.
