Spending time with family and friends and experiencing nature with all senses. Offer children carefree vacations and always have adventure within reach.

At the more than 100 campsites with 16,000 pitches, everyone will find their favorite spot - whether at a bathing lake, at the foot of a mountain, on the banks of a river, on a farm or at one of the naturist campsites.

What campers in Carinthia particularly appreciate: the combination of mountains and warm bathing lakes and the resulting opportunities for active enjoyment: leisurely biking, hiking, paddling, walking, mountain biking, climbing, SUPing and much more. The mild climate on the south side of the Alps and the many sunny days contribute to an all-round successful and varied vacation.

What's new?
The Carinthian campsites offer their guests some novelties. Such as sleeping barrels (for up to four people) and a sauna barrel (for up to ten people) at the camping site Camping Village Wörthersee in Velden/Auen on Lake Wörthersee.

Fugocamp in Kleblach-Lind focuses on nature: with a total of five Wood Cubes, each with 34 square meters of living space (2 bedrooms, kitchen, shower, toilet, heating, air conditioning) and 20 square meters of covered wooden terrace.

Spectacular the 27-meter-long and 6-meter-thick submarine at Campingpark Burgstaller on Lake Millstatt, which houses the children's sanitary facilities.

New deluxe mobile homes with lake views and two new glamping lodges are available at Camping Breznik on Lake Turner.

In the south of Austria, just a few kilometers from the Italian border, you'll find the camping and vacation parks in Hermagor on Lake Pressegg. The newly built AlpinLODGEs with 12 apartments are the perfect accommodation for families and wellness lovers.

"HOCHoben" in Mallnitz presents itself as an alpine camping resort with 18 luxuriously equipped chalets at over 1200 meters above sea level amidst an impressive mountain backdrop.

Hiking, Paddling and Slow Trails
The wonderful combination of mountains and lakes ensures that active enjoyment and intensive experience are not neglected. Many enjoyable hiking trails, often starting from the campsite, invite you to move on dream trails at all altitudes, family-friendly and often even suitable for baby carriages. Depending on your mood, demands and physical condition, there are countless signposted tours all over the country. The highest mountain in the country is the Großglockner at 3798 meters. Carinthia's longest long-distance hiking trail, the Alpe-Adria Trail, also begins here. It normally leads in 43 stages and over 750 kilometers across Carinthia and Slovenia to the Upper Adriatic in Italy.
If you prefer to take it easy, try the Carinthian Slow Trails - a total of six short hiking trails near the Carinthian lakes that are never longer than 10 kilometers and never climb more than 300 meters in altitude.
