Tschlin is located in the lower Engadine in the border triangle of Switzerland, Austria and Italy. A short portrait.

As if on an eagle's nest, a beautiful sun terrace. Its two hamlets, Strada and Martina, lie 400 meters further down, gently nestled in the valley directly on the Inn River.

In Tschlin, a village where smart ideas bubble up, the small organic brewery Biera Engiadinaisa, known far beyond the village, thrives alongside good ideas. Under the Bun Tschlin label, high-quality products and services from the community are grouped together, from homemade liqueur, fine sheep's milk yogurt and goat's cheese to meat from Scottish Highland cattle. Quality instead of quantity, small but nice, that is the motto of the Che Chaschöl cheese dairy.

The small brewery - www.bieraria.ch meanwhile produces in Martina. The beer has gained popularity throughout Switzerland in recent years.

Away from the big tourist crowds and yet in the immediate vicinity of the ski centers of Scuol, Samnaun-Ischgl, Nauders-Tirol and Schöneben in Vinschgau, the area around Tschlin is a paradise for snow sports enthusiasts. Hikers, too, get their money's worth from Tschlin, on tours of all levels of difficulty. Charming little guesthouses and creative restaurants take care of the guests' well-being and there are a number of sights to discover. Tschlin offers everything the heart of the peace-seeking traveler desires.
