Matterhorn ski paradise, Zermatt (Valais)
Where, if not in Switzerland's highest ski resort, can skiers still hit the slopes in March and April? At an altitude of around 3883 meters, the Matterhorn ski paradise ski resort awaits winter sports enthusiasts with 360 kilometers of slopes. If you believe the opinion of many locals, the most beautiful time on the slopes is in March and April. Off the slopes, Zermatt is known for unforgettable gourmet experiences and legendary après-ski evenings.

Arosa Lenzerheide (Grisons).
On 225 kilometers of slopes at up to 2865 meters above sea level, the ski resort of Arosa Lenzerheide is a great place to be even at the beginning of spring. The ski resort attracts with special piste experiences such as the SnowNight, the full moon descent or the "EarlyBird" skiing. Even off the slopes, winter sports enthusiasts are well catered for in the more than 40 cozy mountain restaurants and huts. Especially on the sun terraces the winter can be well bid farewell. For spring skiers, there are attractive "LateBird" offers at the end of the season.

Engelberg Titlis (Lucerne Lake Lucerne)
The largest winter and summer vacation destination in Central Switzerland is considered to have guaranteed snow from December to April. Consisting of the ski areas Titlis, Brunni and Bannalp, Engelberg-Titlis provides a varied range of slopes. On the Titlis glacier, snow enjoyment is even possible until May. Depending on snow conditions, one of the longest valley runs of all can still be made in the late season: 12 kilometers, spread over 2000 meters of altitude difference.

Free Holiday Republic of Saas Fee (Valais)
The Free Holiday Republic of Saas-Fee counts 300 sunny days a year. With the best visibility, skiers can thus marvel at the 18 four-thousand-meter peaks that belong to the Saas Valley. The vacation republic includes the four charming mountain villages of Saas Fee, Saas Grund, Saas Almagell and Saas Balen. Winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to perfectly groomed ski slopes at an altitude of up to 3600 meters, even at the beginning of spring. Thus, the ski resort in Valais is considered one of the most snow-sure in the Alps, so that even top international ski athletes train there. By the way: even in summer skiing is possible on the glaciers of Saas-Fee.

Corvatsch Furtschellas, Engadin St. Moritz (Grisons)
The sporting possibilities at Corvatsch leave nothing to be desired. 120 kilometers of groomed slopes, 23 runs and 14 lifts make a ski day a real experience. Until the end of April, winter sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth in the Corvatsch Furtschellas ski area. The altitude and northern exposure ensure the best snow conditions until spring. The mountain station Corvatsch with its 3303 meters is the highest of Graubünden and a popular starting point for ski runs on the glacier of the same name. In the heart of the ski area lies the Corvatsch Park, which is one of the largest snow parks in the Alpine region. Another highlight: throughout the winter season, night is turned into day at Corvatsch - every Friday at 7:00 p.m., the longest illuminated slope in Switzerland opens for night skiing.

Grindelwald-First is the sunniest of all three ski areas in the Jungfrau Region.
Try out your freestyle skills in the "White Elements" fun park. Connoisseurs will get their money's worth on the "Tempo 30 piste". 53 kilometres of groomed pistes and 40 kilometres of hiking and toboggan runs with a gigantic panorama of the north faces of the Bernese Alps characterise the Grindelwald-First area. You can reach Grindelwald First by cable car. The "Bodmi Arena" practice area for beginners of all ages in a sunny location in the centre of the village of Grindelwald is equipped with a beginners' lift.
