In the restaurant or, in the warmer months, in the beautiful restaurant garden, you can enjoy excellent food and drink. In addition to our experienced chef, Mateja is there for you. As a qualified sommelier, she will be happy to recommend suitable wines from our well-stocked wine cellar. These include Slovenian wines from all wine-growing regions in Slovenia and selected wines from all over the world.

You can choose a la carte or book in advance for one of the tempting 5 or 9-course tasting menus. Mussels, scampi, octopus, sea bream and much more, cold and warm fish dishes, risotto and pasta prepared with finesse and passion are well worth a visit. A particular specialty is our dry-cured fish (according to old Japanese tradition), here too the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Seafood, chocolate & wine
This is a special menu that was created in collaboration with a former colleague and employee of the restaurant - Maks Pogačnik.
About 5 years ago, Maks decided to take over his father's chocolate factory "Molinet hiša čokolade". The Tabor restaurant team supported Maks in his beginnings as a chocolatier and was, of course, his first regular customer. Today, Maks and Mateja have more than a friendship; they work together on a wide variety of projects, combine new culinary flavors and create taste experiences for guests from all over the world. This menu promises a gourmet experience...
