South Tyrol Merano Country | Passiria Valley
In the heart of the Nature Park Texelgruppe lies the idyllic Val Passiria with its ski resorts Pfelders (1.622 a.s.l.) and Jaufen-Ratschings.
Modern lifts transport winter sports enthusiasts comfortably to "distant" heights as early as the end of November.
Breathe in the clear winter air, start marching and experience the untouched, deeply snow-covered landscape. The Val Passiria offers fantastic winter hiking trails that wind their way to the alpine huts and through the white fairytale forest, with snow crunching quietly under the hikers' soles.
For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the good-natured Haflinger horses will take you on a sleigh ride into the romantic Lazins valley. Health-conscious people strap on their cross-country skis and explore 20 km of cross-country trails along the snow-covered mountains far from the hustle and bustle. Snowshoeing, ice climbing, ski tours, tobogganing, torchlight hikes or ice skating are also a special kind of experience and promise goosebumps.
The gently mobile skiing area of Pfelders, with its snow-sure and moderately difficult slopes, is particularly appealing to families and skiing beginners. Visitors are taken by carriage or two city buses through the village and to the slopes, no car no stress, but a lot of nature. The Psair winter has many faces, discover it in your own way.
