With the new Eiger Express, you can travel in comfort - spectacular views and a fast connection included.
From the new terminal in Grindelwald, there is a 3S cableway to the Eiger Glacier and a new 10-seater gondola lift to Männlichen. The new V-Cableway will take you much faster to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe or directly to the ski slopes. Vacation guests in Grindelwald can reach the Eigergletscher station and thus the ski slopes in just 15 minutes.
Grindelwald-First is the sunniest of all three ski areas in the Jungfrau Region.
Try out your freestyle skills in the "White Elements" fun park. Connoisseurs will get their money's worth on the "Tempo 30 slope". 53 kilometers of groomed pistes and 40 kilometers of hiking and toboggan runs with a gigantic panorama of the north faces of the Bernese Alps characterize the Grindelwald-First area. You can reach Grindelwald First by cable car. The "Bodmi Arena" practice area for beginners of all ages. in a sunny location in the middle of the village of Grindelwald is equipped with a beginners' lift.

Kleine Scheidegg - Männlichen ski area
The ski area with 102 kilometers of pistes and 30 kilometers of toboggan runs is located directly at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In the Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen area, there is something for every level, from beginners' slopes to the World Cup Lauberhorn downhill run. The world-famous Lauberhorn World Cup downhill run starts in the ski area and stretches over 4.2 km down to Wengen. The ski area can be reached from Grindelwald by cogwheel railroad or cable car (Grindelwald-Männlichen gondola). The valley descent leads directly to Grindelwald Grund.

The longest toboggan run in the world - the Big Pintenfritz
With a length of 15 kilometers, it is the longest sledging run in the whole of Europe: the "Big Pintenfritz". The toboggan run is named after a former Faulhorn innkeeper who is said to have opened the run. The route leads from the Faulhorn over the Bussalp down to Grindelwald. However, you have to earn the experience first: the ascent from First to the 2,680-metre-high Faulhorn takes 2.5 hours.
Spectacular train journey to the Jungfraujoch
For most holidaymakers, Grindelwald is a famous starting point for their journey to the Jungfraujoch. At 3454 meters above sea level, the Jungfraujoch is the highest railroad station in Europe. On its spectacular journey through the two mountains Eiger and Mönch, the Jungfrau Railway passes the intermediate stations Eismeer and Eigerwand and offers its passengers a fantastic view. Once at the top, a world of ice, snow and rock awaits visitors. Breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier and, on fine days, as far as the Vosges and the Black Forest make the journey an unforgettable experience.
Sustainability in vacation planning
Grindelwald is one of the most beautiful winter destinations in Switzerland - with excellent rail connections. Direct ICE connections to Interlaken take you comfortably to the town between the two lakes. Lakes Thun and Brienz characterize the landscape together with the surrounding imposing mountains around the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The Bernese Oberland Railway opens up the Lütschinen valleys and connects Interlaken Ost with Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen with its blue and yellow compositions. You can even travel to Interlaken Ost by train and bus free of charge with the Bernese Oberland Pass.
