A large part of the route of the Liechtenstein Trail can also be traveled by e-bike or bicycle. In some places the route deviates slightly from the hiking route.

The Liechtenstein Trail leads through the entire Principality of Liechtenstein and is ideal for getting to know the country and its people in all their depth. The bike route leads through idyllic vineyards, nature reserves, old village centers, to many sights and is peppered with magnificent views. In some places the route deviates from the hiking route.

The route leads from the southernmost municipality of Balzers to the Walser village of Triesenberg, then to the Liechtenstein capital of Vaduz and on in a steady up and down through villages, forests and nature reserves to the customs office in Schaanwald on the border with Austria. The overall route is divided into three stages, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the many sights and attractions along the way. Because the route repeatedly dips into villages, there are always refreshment stops along the way.
