Garda Trentino a perfect example of a Mediterranean oasis, here the Alps merge with the warm sun of the south.

The territory of Garda Trentino extends over a radius of 15 kilometers and includes the municipalities of Riva del Garda, Arco, Nago-Torbole, Tenno, Dro, Drena. The landscape and the architecture of the small centers, as well as the
multifaceted history of the places can confirm it: steep cliffs meet palm trees, traces of the Habsburg period can be found next to cheerful Italian colors, the ruggedness of the World War I forts contrasts with the delicate green of the olives.

A place where Italian flair and Central European past live together in perfect harmony. Local products, culture, history and ancient villages are just some of the many things to do 12 months a year on Italy's largest lake. Here you can relax with a delicious aperitif and local products, here you can let yourself be conquered by the shopping streets and at the same time you have every opportunity to try the numerous outdoor activities (such as sailing, cycling, climbing, hiking, etc.).

THE TREKKING TOP FIVE, THE BEST OF GARDA TO EXPERIENCE ON FOOT
A special top 5 from the most suggestive trails of the region are: Sentiero Busatte-Tempesta, Marocche, Rifugio San Pietro-Monte Calino, i Forti del Monte Brione, Sentiero della Ponale - the last two among the various trails, are a true concentrate of beauty, a feast for the eyes, but also training for body and mind.
The circular path at high altitude is called Corona Alta (7 stages, 90 km, 6,990 m altitude difference), mostly walkable in summer and a unique spectacle between heaven and earth. It runs along the watershed that surrounds Alto Garda, from the cliffs to the high alpine pastures of Monte Stivo and Altissimo. A demanding trekking route with continuous ups and downs up to 2000 meters of altitude and several overnight stays in the magical atmosphere of the refuges at high altitude, where hospitality and service, as well as the unmistakable taste of typical local products await.

Below Corona Alta, on the other hand, run Corona Media (4 stages, 73.2 km, 3,275 m altitude difference) and Corona Bassa (2 stages, 33.5 km, 1,045 m altitude difference). The particular Mediterranean climate that characterizes the lake makes these two walks possible at any time of the year, so that you can always gather new impressions and experience countless emotions even on clear winter days among holm oaks, olive trees and castles.

A PLACE TO DISCOVER "VERTICALLY" AS WELL
In Garda Trentino there is an even more vertical route for all hiking enthusiasts: the via ferratas, which are a unique and irreplaceable resource of the region. They are routes in the wall that require special equipment (helmet, harness, safety kit) and also a minimum of technical knowledge and training depending on the difficulty of the chosen route. One of the most famous and popular routes in the whole of Trentino is the via ferrata Via dell'Amicizia - Cima Sat, which winds its way up the wall of Monte Rocchetta high above the lake: demanding from a physical point of view, but absolutely unforgettable panoramic views await as a reward.

THE REGION THAT (ALSO) CONQUERS THE PALATE
This is Garda Trentino, a place that immerses you in an intense sensory experience. The list of top quality products is long and just waiting to be tasted:

From the cultivation of the olive in Alto Garda, for centuries the most northern cultivation area in the world with the most rooted tradition, Garda Trentino extra virgin olive oil is produced.
A unique product of the area is certainly the Carne Salada, whose origins go back a long way. Extracted from beef rump and produced through a special process based on various spices, it is at the heart of some of the most famous dishes of Alto Garda.

In Drena, in addition to the woods in Campi, Nago and Tenno, a special medium chestnut is collected. The noble chestnuts from Campi and the delicious puree obtained from them boast the brand De.Co.
Thanks to the particular microclimate and the characteristic winds such as Ora and Pelèr and the long sunny days, the region is ideal for the cultivation of various types of wine. Among the numerous DOC wines to highlight are Schiava and Lagrein, Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer and Moscato Giallo, all wines that can be enjoyed at any time of the day, from aperitif to lunch, from simple to more refined menus, to dessert.

To all those who have now acquired a taste for wine, we can only recommend experiencing the region "live".
