The unique natural landscape at an altitude of 1,200 meters and the health-promoting climate make the region also in winter...

to the oversized "outdoor fitness center" for skiers and cross-country skiers, hikers and Nordic walkers. Perfectly groomed slopes with a total length of 48 kilometers and the 279 kilometers of perfectly groomed cross-country trails already invite you to wonderful tours and sporting challenges from the beginning of December until the end of March.

The new Nordic Competence Center presents itself with two new ski jumps, one of the most modern biathlon facilities in Europe, a ski roller track and a permanently snow-covered cross-country ski trail that makes training possible as early as mid-November: Thus Seefeld offers optimal training conditions for all Nordic sports - for "professionals" as well as for ambitious recreational athletes, even biathlon and roller ski courses are on the program.

Another highlight for cross-country skiers who also want to build up fitness in the evening is the three-kilometer night trail between Seefeld and Mösern. Alpine skiers can also look forward to evening skiing fun. Night skiing by floodlight is offered by the Rosshütte in Seefeld. Seven international ski schools cater to beginners and those who want to improve their technique. Vacationers who prefer to ski without skis can enjoy the beautiful snowy landscape on the more than 140 kilometers of cleared winter hiking trails.

Winter fun from 6-66
Winter vacations in the Olympiaregion Seefeld means winter vacations for all generations: The first "walking attempts" in the snow are often not so easy. So it's all the better when, as in Seefeld, the tobogganing hill with a direct view of the Seefeld landmark, the Seekirchl, is "right in the middle of the action". Grandma and grandpa can push the ice sticks over the track right "next door" in a cozy atmosphere. Sporty fathers start their rounds here on cross-country skis. And if it gets too cold for mom and the little ones outside, the Olympia Sport & Congress Center invites you to swim, slide and relax.

Numerous flat practice slopes, mostly directly in the village centers, offer the ideal environment for the first steps on skis: In the 7 ski schools of the region, specially trained ski instructors take care of the little skiers - it is quite clear that besides learning how to snowplow & Co, fun plays the biggest role. Of course, the kids are also looked after at lunchtime on request, if the parents want to spend the whole day on the track or ski slope. Friendly mascots such as the friendly dragon Gizzi in Seefeld or the skiing penguin Bobo in Leutasch make sure that the ski courses for the youngest slope fliers are a unique experience. Very young vacation guests from 18 months are lovingly looked after in the Gizzi kids' club in Seefeld from Monday to Friday.
