A hiking trail that connects all of Liechtenstein's municipalities. Embark on an exciting journey through an entire country. Discovering the historical highlights of the Principality of Liechtenstein on foot along the Liechtenstein Trail is an experience you have to have.
Where can you hike an entire country in just a few days and learn about its rich 300-year history? The explorer can expect 75 kilometers full of exciting stories, sights, magnificent views, idyllic resting places and much more.
135 selected historical sites and events, so-called points of interest (POIs), are connected by the Liechtenstein Way to form a large whole. Historical events that do not have a geographical reference are placed between the location-based POIs. The path leads through all 11 municipalities of Liechtenstein, either from south to north or vice versa. It is possible to start the Liechtenstein-Weg from any municipality. The total route can thus also be walked in several stages.

New Popup Beizle (Food Trucks)
Over the summer months, a new highlight awaits guests from Switzerland and abroad on the Liechtenstein Trail. Two pop-up pubs at unique locations invite to enjoyment, relaxation and great views on the way.
PRINZENBRÄU TRUCK
In Liechtenstein's southernmost community of Balzers, guests are treated to beer and burgers. In a converted original US school bus, the Prinzenbräu brewery team serves regional delicacies directly at the foot of the imposing Gutenberg Castle. The 1.4-ton smoker on which the burgers are roasted bears the name Princess - in keeping with the stately location.
GRANVILLE CAFÉ
In Planken, Liechtenstein's smallest community, a very special trail stop awaits visitors. The Granville Café truck is located at one of the most beautiful vantage points on the Liechtenstein Trail. Roman Eggenberger, co-initiator of the truck, decided a few years ago to "retrain" from banker to barista. With a view of the 5-country corner of Switzerland, Germany, Austria as well as Oberland and Unterland, he serves guests locally roasted coffee, fine hemp products from regional cultivation and other delicacies.
