Cross-country skiing is becoming more and more popular, especially among the younger generation. In Liechtenstein you can enjoy the healthy winter sport in a natural landscape that could hardly be more idyllic. At 1300 meters above sea level, on the access route to the popular alpine skiing area of Malbun, lies the cross-country skiing paradise of Steg-Valüna. It offers 12 kilometers of groomed trails, equally suitable for the classic style as well as the skating variant. No matter if you want to glide along in a relaxed way or if you want to do an ambitious endurance training - here every cross-country skiing fan gets his money's worth. And even in the dark: 3 kilometers of the trail are illuminated in the evening.

In addition to its sporting attractions, the Steg-Valüna cross-country skiing area impresses with its seclusion and scenic diversity. Completely undisturbed by hustle and bustle or traffic noise, the trail runs across meadows, through dense spruce forest, along the Samina stream and over numerous bridges.
