Alps Liechtenstein
The Liechtenstein alpine world offers fantastic winter hiking trails and snowshoe tours for nature lovers.
Pure nature and the pleasure of "slowness", away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life: this is how winter hikers and snowshoe trekkers experience the Liechtenstein Alpine region. Malbun and Steg in particular invite you to do so.
Winter hiking through the Valünatal
In the Valünatal in Steg 1200 m above sea level, winter hikers as well as cross-country skiers enjoy a wonderful winter landscape. In addition to a 15-kilometer cross-country ski trail, an idyllic winter hiking trail is prepared and signposted in the Valünatal from December to the end of March. The winter hike can be easily completed in about two hours by hikers of average fitness. [learn more]
Winter hike on the Sassweg
Those who want to drift along, lost in thought or engrossed in conversation, will appreciate the well-groomed Sassweg. Snow hikers enjoy the approximately two-hour circular trail that winds between high snow walls, leg pines and sunlit snow hollows. [learn more]
Schwemmiweg hike
The circular trail leads from the parking lot at Gänglesee through the winter forest to Alpe Sücka. From there you get back to Steg on the sidewalk for tobogganers ¬or even better ¬you whiz right down the valley with the toboggan. [learn more]
