Through dreamlike fairy-tale landscapes, lonely winter forests and along the Isar river, even those who slip into lined boots and explore the Alpine foothills on foot will find their way. A 42-kilometer network of trails is regularly cleared for hikers, walkers and Nordic walkers. Among the most charming routes is the small high-altitude trail at Brauneck, which reveals unique views.
