Like hardly any other alpine destination, Kleinwalsertal combines

its living Walser tradition and history as well as closeness to nature with modern, cosmopolitan flair and thinking. Kleinwalsertal stands for the pleasurable art of living, an attitude to life that guests can immerse themselves in as a matter of course during their vacation. Guests who appreciate cultural gems and typical regional delights just as much as a perfect infrastructure and vacation quality will find the right retreat for an active alpine winter vacation in Kleinwalsertal. Whether you are a family, traveling alone or in a group.

The four villages Riezlern, Hirschegg, Mittelberg and Baad offer enough space for recreational opportunities, invigorating activities and exciting encounters. The casino in Riezlern, the Crystal Ground Snowpark or the various valley ski lifts for families show the variety of offers. With only one ski pass, skiers and snowboarders have a total of 120 kilometers of alpine downhill runs at their disposal in the 2-country ski region Kleinwalsertal-Oberstdorf. The free use of the Walserbus within the valley enables flexible winter sports enjoyment. A high environmental quality, ideal slope conditions, modern railroads and snow-making facilities and low-priced packages and courses specially tailored to different guest target groups make Kleinwalsertal an active-alpine experience area for different needs in winter.

Gentle nature experience without skis
Guests looking for relaxation and tranquility will find an ideal balance away from the big ski slopes in Kleinwalsertal. Neither through traffic, nor noise disturb the nature experience here. More than 50 kilometers of cleared paths, mostly in the valley and the side valleys, offer enough space for extended winter hikes. Hikes with snowshoes convey a real trapper feeling.

Cool & stylish: Crystal Ground & Wood Ground Snowpark
Known as a mecca for friends of snowparks and cool events, the Crystal Ground in Riezlern offers freshly groomed slopes, "obstacles" (obstacles) in all shapes and degrees of difficulty and a varied course every day throughout the winter season. The snowpark also includes its own soft and hardware store, a lounge with café for chilling out, and its own ski and board service with rental. On the forest area adjacent to the Crystal Ground, there is also the Wood Ground with versatile obstacles made entirely of rough wood.
