Optimally networked thanks to 171 state-of-the-art lift facilities

662 perfectly groomed kilometers of slopes leave nothing to be desired. The scale of fantastic descents ranges from wide slopes with a pleasant gradient to demanding routes that challenge real experts. 81.4 km of black (difficult), 414.8 km of red (medium) and 165.8 km of blue (easy) slopes can be easily discovered with the Zillertal SuperSkipass. The possibility to enjoy all Zillertal ski areas with just one ticket and also to use the valley-wide ski bus system free of charge at the same time is extremely popular not only with families. If the Hintertux Glacier - Austria's only year-round ski area - invites you to enjoy skiing in summer and winter, snowmaking systems for 407.6 kilometers of slopes in the Zillertal ski areas guarantee white slopes as far as the eye can see.

Skiing has to be learned - but with fun!
It is never too early or too late to get on the "Brettln". A total of 23 ski schools in the Zillertal show their protégés the right turn with a lot of patience. Beginners of all ages not only learn the right technique from experienced ski instructors, but these also take away the fear of steeper descents and convey the fascination of the myth of the mountain. In own beginner areas with appropriate lifts and magic carpets the first steps in the snow become a pleasure.

Family experiences off the slopes
Families also have a lot to offer off the slopes. At the Hintertux Glacier, the sparkling world of the Nature Ice Palace tempts you to put your skis on ice and discover the naturally grown crevasse on foot. Those who want to let off steam on the ice will find the best conditions at the Mayrhofen artificial ice rink. From December to March, you can make your rounds on 1,500 square meters either fast and sporty or leisurely and carefully. The Arena Coaster in Zell am Ziller is also a great place to go. Adrenaline-seekers rush along the 1,450m-long track with plenty of action and speed, with numerous waves, steep curves, jumps and spinning tops guaranteeing fun for young and old alike. To warm up, it's then off to the Erlebnistherme spa in Fügen. While those seeking relaxation enjoy the spacious sauna and wellness area, the little ones have a great time on the longest slide in western Austria.
