Nature lovers can look forward to exciting hiking trails in one of the most beautiful high valleys in Europe.

When the first strong rays of sunshine melt the snow and the colorful heralds of spring make their way to the surface, a special time begins in the Tannheimer Tal. Nature shows what it can do and it is the perfect time to get to know one of the most beautiful high valleys in Europe on the many different hiking trails. These two hiking trails will particularly inspire you.

Panoramic walk from Tannheim to Grän
The trail from Tannheim to Grän offers a leisurely but panoramic route. Starting from the village center in Tannheim in the middle of the Tannheim Valley, the route leads via the Berg district and the subsequent high trail to Grän. On the way back, the two characteristic peaks of Gimpel and Rote Flüh as well as the surrounding blossoming nature offer a breathtaking panorama. Hikers cover just over seven kilometers on this panoramic route in around two hours.

Letter trail in Jungholz
The individual letters of the village name are set up at various points in the idyllic village, forming a special kind of circular trail. Jungholz is discovered letter by letter on this trail. The pillars were designed by various artists from the region using different materials and styles. The artists' intentions and interpretations can be read in a short description. Starting from the tourist information office in Jungholz, the circular trail leads through the Tyrolean enclave. It takes between two and three hours, depending on how fast you walk and where you stop at the individual letters. Art and nature are combined on this circular trail, which is just as suitable for hikers as it is for nature-loving families.
