10 picturesque villages and the historic Hall in Tirol are made for an unforgettable vacation in the Tyrolean mountains.

During the summer vacation, nature and sports enthusiasts can draw from the full range of activities: magnificent hiking areas in the Karwendel, the Inn Valley and the Tux Alps, varied mountain biking and climbing routes as well as crystal-clear swimming opportunities ensure a carefree and relaxing stay.

The old town of Hall in Tyrol, for example, is the largest in western Austria. On guided tours and city walks, the special flair of the old walls and alleys can be discovered particularly well. The small but fine mining museum is also worth a visit.
Hall's landmark is located in the former salt works area of the city, near the Inn River: The mint tower of Hasegg Castle. Here you will also find the Hall Mint Museum, where you can learn all sorts of interesting facts about the art of minting.

A few kilometers further on, in the charming town of Absam at the foot of the Karwendel, you will find the Marienbasilika. Here, the famous image of Mary of Absam, which according to legend appeared to the peasant girl Rosina Bucher in 1797, is venerated. The pilgrimage church in Absam is one of the most important Marian pilgrimages in Austria. On the outskirts of Absam is the entrance to the wild and romantic Hall Valley, which is part of the Karwendel Nature Park. Here you can find untouched mountain nature and wild plants and animals.

Also leading into the Halltal is the Historic Brine Hiking Trail. The Historic Brine Hiking Trail traces the route in the Hall Valley that the miners used to take. Twelve stations provide information on the subject of salt and impart interesting knowledge. For children, there is an interactive task to participate in at each station. At the end of the trail, the legendary Kaiser-Max-Stollen awaits, which can be entered at the first meter.

On the other side of the valley, in the Tux Alps, you will find the mountain adventure world "Kugelwald am Glungezer" with the world's only wooden ball track in the open air near the middle station of the Glungezer cable car.At an altitude of 1560m above sea level, the mountain adventure world "Kugelwald am Glungezer" offers spectacular wooden ball tracks, a large tree house, a do-it-yourself playground, a rest area, sound elements and a forest classroom as well as a panorama platform with a viewing telescope on an area of 8000 m². At the nearby Tulfeinalm is the terminus of the famous Swiss Pine Trail. From the Patscherkofel over the Zirbenweg to Tulfes on a wide path leads to the somewhat hidden Boscheben Hut. The path runs gently up and down, but without any significant change in altitude along the timberline at an altitude of over 2000 m to the Tulfeinalm. Throughout the hike, you look down on the valley floor of the Inntal and enjoy the breathtaking backdrop of the Karwendel mountain range opposite. Near the Tulfeinalm, you can comfortably take the Glungezerbahn chairlift to Tulfes.

The famous Swarovski Crystal Worlds are located in Wattens. In addition to the sensational adventure museum, a park landscape with unique art installations and new buildings, such as an innovative play tower with plenty of room for movement, awaits visitors on 7.5 hectares. The glittering highlight: the unique crystal cloud, which consists of around 800,000 hand-set crystals and floats above a pitch-black mirror lake.
