The five alpine villages - Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen, Waidring, St. Ulrich and St. Jakob - will inspire you.

At the entrance to the PillerseeTal lies the village of Waidring at the foot of the Steinplatte in the border triangle of Tyrol-Salzburger Land-Bavaria. An ideal vacation resort for mountain hiking and mountain biking. Families can take the Steinplatte cable cars up to the viewing platform on the Steinplatte, and in the "Triassic Park" everyone can get up close and personal with prehistoric times. In the outdoor area of the adventure park there is a large "mini sea" surrounded by the highest sandy beach in the Alps. Here the little visitors can splash and play while the adults relax on the beach. And if you still feel like climbing, hike via the Gamsweg or the Grünwaldalm to the entrance of the via ferrata "s'Schuastagangl", which leads directly to the summit of the Steinplatte. Only with via ferrata equipment.

St. Ulrich am Pillersee - Framed by the Loferer Steinberge and the snow and grass mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps, the village is an island of peace and relaxation. On the shores of the Pillersee with its emerald green water you can relax wonderfully. Hikers will find a cozy alpine inn on the most beautiful panoramic mountain of the Pillersee valley via the path to the Buchensteinwad. Those who like it very comfortable, simply use the four-seater chair lift.

The first stop on the cable car is the "Timoks Alm". Here, adventure trails, a forest ropes course, game enclosure with viewing platform and Timoks climbing park await guests. Even the very youngest (0-5 years) have been thought of. "Jello" is the biggest thing here: the playground and playground right next to the Timoks hut, with a huge bouncy cushion, sandbox, swings and much more. At the "Timoks-Coaster" you just have to pack your friends and family and off you go: whizzing down in a comfortable two-seater - how fast, you decide! But be careful: the track is peppered with fast-paced curves and a 360° carousel!

Hochfilzen is famousfor its endless hiking trails in the midst of nature. A hike to the romantic Grießensee lake leads from the railroad underpass "Im Bachl" - turn right after Magnesitstraße - on the cycle path to Leogang past reed belts to the bird watching tower directly at the lake. Countless bird species breed at the Grießner Hochmoor and can be observed from the tower. The terrace on the Seealm invites you to linger.

In St. Jakob in Haus,discover the beautiful lookout mountain Buchensteinwand and the family adventure park "Familienland PillerseeTal". In the adventurous adventure park many attractions await you: from roller coaster to wild raft to crocodile carousel and a large indoor climbing hall - no boredom is guaranteed here!

Climbing on the coral reef
The former coral reef is today considered one of the best lime climbing areas in Tyrol. Hundreds of routes, from base climbs to 250 meter high climbs challenge the whole man or woman.

Bathing fun
The bathing lake Waidring, the refreshing Pillersee is the emerald green heart of the valley, the Lauchsee in Fieberbrunn, as well as indoor and outdoor pools invite you to splash and swim. Weather-independent bathing pleasures can be enjoyed in the adventure outdoor and indoor pool "Aubad" in Fieberbrunn or in the indoor pool in St. Ulrich am Pillersee.
