In the Ötztal, winter reigns from October to May and it does so in impressive scenery: more than 250 three-thousand-meter peaks frame the top ski resorts of Sölden, Gurgl and Hochoetz.

Families warmly welcome! This is the motto in the sunny ski resort Hochoetz. Especially children and "ski beginners" get their money's worth here. Great slopes, rustic huts and lots of sun make every ski day a highlight for young and old. WIDI, the cheeky companion, shows all children what there is to discover. For example the WIDIVERSUM Hochoetz, WIDI's Kidsclub and indoor kindergarten, the children's course and the snow village.

WIDI's partner ski schools
Around the Hochoetz ski region, WIDI's licensed partner ski schools AGE, Oetz-Hochoetz and Mali offer the right course for every skill level. Specially trained snow sports instructors who enjoy working with children show the right technique and help to get off to a great start in skiing. In the separate children's area with magic carpets and funny animal figures, even the youngest children from the age of three can take their first steps in the snow without any pressure to perform. Flexible course times, supervised lunch and much more make the children's ski course a relaxed experience.

Skiing fun for the grown-ups
Family day in Hochoetz today, powder snow in Obergurgl tomorrow and downhill runs in Sölden the day after? If you love variety, the Ötztal Superskipass (available from three days) is just right for you. With just one ticket, winter sports enthusiasts enjoy free travel on a total of 361 kilometers of slopes, 90 lifts and six ski areas throughout the valley. The region-wide ski bus takes all explorers to their destination free of charge. Anyone who wants to concentrate their activities on the Hochoetz and Kühtai ski areas can conquer two ski areas for the price of one with the practical combination ticket. Free shuttle buses ensure smooth transfers between the two resorts every half hour.
