For active people: Gramaiser Seenrunde
Clear mountain lakes, gushing waterfalls and expansive views - the Gramaiser Seenrunde in Tyrol's Lech Valley offers a scenically varied tour in pristine nature. Despite idyllic stopovers, it is especially recommended for experienced hikers. At first, the trail follows the Roßkarbach stream leisurely down into the valley, but soon the path leads partly steeply through scree fields up to the green shimmering Roßkarsee lake. It continues along a rocky path towards Heinzensprossenrücken, the highest point of the hike at 2,290 meters. Once at the top, an impressive mountain panorama rewards the demanding ascent. Before the Hirschleskopf, the trail branches off and leads the last stretch across a meadow to the Schafkarsee lake with views of the Große and Kleine Schafkarspitze before arriving back in Gramais. With a bit of luck, hikers will encounter the rare black-nosed sheep....

For the leisurely: Baichlsteinrunde
While listening to the rushing wild river Lech and watching birds on the banks, hikers walk quite relaxed along the well prepared paths on the Baichlsteinrunde. The starting and finishing point is the natural bathing pond "Badino" in Vorderhornbach, which offers a welcome cooling down afterwards. The route extends to the Hornbach bridge and on to the edge of the forest, where the high-altitude trail begins with many panoramic views of the Tyrolean Lech Valley. This is followed by the ten-minute, leisurely ascent to the Baichlstein. At the top, the view of Stanzach, Vorderhornbach and the Lech Valley awaits the hikers. The way back leads along a wide forest path along the Lech to Vorderhornbach. From the Baichlstein you have the most beautiful view of the typical Lechzopf...

For families: Great suspension bridge circuit
An experience that will remain in your memory is the crossing of the 200 meter long Holzgau suspension bridge. You should be free of giddiness in any case, because it spans the romantic Höhenbach valley gorge in 110 meters and connects the meadows of the Gföllberg with the sunny plateau at the Schiggenberg. The loop starts at the village square of Holzgau and passes its splendidly painted house facades, for which the main town of the Tyrolean Lech Valley is famous. After the dizzying part over the rope suspension bridge, hikers can expect a flat path further towards Schiggen on the other side. Over meadows and wooden footbridges, the path descends slightly to the entrance of the village and along the old village street back to the church. The wild and roaring Simm waterfall in the Höhenbach valley is also worth a short detour...
