Where the name says it all - GoldenPass
This famous panoramic route actually owes its name to the golden autumn. The first English-speaking guests reported on the fascinating autumn colors and summarized that they had a "Golden Time". To this day, the GoldenPass lives up to its name, as the autumn colors of the trees and bushes on the stretch between Zweisimmen and Montreux are particularly impressive. The GoldenPass is available as a panoramic train with large windows and guaranteed far-reaching views, or as a Belle Epoque version with historic carriages clad in high-quality wood and furnished with sumptuous upholstered armchairs. Whether ultra-modern or historic - the autumn landscape is the eye-catcher par excellence. Guests should have their cameras ready on the Rougement-Rossinière Montbovon section.

Once across the Swiss autumn - Glacier Express
From Zermatt with the majestic Matterhorn to St. Moritz amid the glittering Upper Engadine lakes - the Glacier Express takes you once across the Swiss autumn landscape. The journey in the world's slowest express train takes you through golden larch groves in the mountain regions and colorful deciduous forests in the lower-lying areas. In about eight hours, the red-and-white adventure train crosses the Alpine chain, passes through 91 tunnels and crosses 291 bridges. With its roof-high panoramic windows, the Glacier Express opens up an unobstructed view of the autumn panorama. The Randa-St. Niklaus, Oberalp-Disentis, Sils im Domleschg-Filisur and Bergün-Preda sections (with some tunnels) are ideal for the perfect autumn snapshot.

A Journey through History and Seasons - The Gotthard Panorama Express
The Gotthard Panorama Express starts at the green palm trees in Mediterranean Lugano. From there, it travels along the old Gotthard route with the old tunnel from 1882 across the Alps to Andermatt, where the mountains are already covered with the first snow. The route continues down to the shore of Lake Lucerne, which offers a view of the wonderful autumn colors of central Switzerland. In addition to the unique autumn panorama, there is also much to discover historically. This is because passengers continue their journey on a steamboat from Flüelen across the lake to Lucerne, the largest city in the region. The most colorful souvenir photo can be taken from the ship on the Flüelen-Lucerne route.
