Buskers Festival August 08 to 10, 2024 (Bern)
From August 8 to 10, the 21st Buskers street music festival attracts visitors to the Swiss capital. More than 65,000 visitors will be amazed when around 40 street artist groups spread throughout the old town perform music, juggling and tricks for three evenings. All the artists perform for "hat money" instead of a fixed fee. www.buskersbern.ch

Open Air Gampel August 15 to 18, 2024 (Valais)
Every year, around 80,000 visitors celebrate on the lush Valais valley floor on the third weekend in August. This makes "Gampel" one of the biggest open-air events in Switzerland. Rock stars are thrilled by the magnificent backdrop. And rightly so, because every year the festival becomes a late summer getaway with guaranteed fun and great sound! The line-up includes the Chemical Brothers, Faber, Feine Sahne Fischfilet and Mando Diao. www.openairgampel.ch
