On 07 May 2023, the medieval town of Gruyères invites you to its cheese festival between 10 am and 6 pm.
Enjoy a culinary ambience at the cheese market. Every spring the free event takes place in the center of the medieval town of Gruyères. Discover good products and spend a pleasant day with family and friends.
Also this year, several cheesemakers from French-speaking Switzerland and beyond the Röstigraben will participate in the cheese market in the center of the small town. There will also be artisans present to introduce you to typical traditions of the region.
Musical entertainments: Alphorn players
Demonstrations of local handicrafts: Gruyère AOP making, wooden cream spoon making and confections of "Dentellières de La Gruyère".
Combine this day in Gruyères with a visit to Gruyères Castle, the Tibet Museum or the HR Giger Museum.
