The Gstaad vacation region competes in the top league of cross-country skiing destinations

and offers cross-country skiers as well as skaters an excellent offer quality. Gstaad scores with the length of the entire range of cross-country trails (175 km), floodlit trails, skating trails and high-altitude trails in the Glacier 3000 area, the only glacier ski area in the Bernese Oberland.

Gstaad is also convincing in terms of snow reliability and quality of service facilities as well as teaching opportunities. As soon as snow conditions permit, the trails are groomed and opened.

Charming discovery tours
Schönried/Saanenmöser, Turbach, Lauenen and Gstaad/Gsteig: In four of the five valleys in the Gstaad region and also on Sparemoos near Zweisimmen, cross-country skiers and skaters of all levels can set out on scenically varied discovery tours. Chalets, forests and magnificent mountain panoramas make the sporting activity also an experience for mind and soul. The ace of trumps in the range of cross-country skiing attractions is the glacier area Glacier 3000. As one of the few winter sports destinations in Europe, Glacier 3000 also has a cross-country ski trail in the early season. Ambitious Nordic fans have the chance for extensive altitude training there.
