In the Julian Alps there are more than a dozen ski resorts. Each in its own way offers a perfect snow enjoyment.

Artificial snow systems enable wonderful skiing even in milder winters. The main advantage of Slovenian ski resorts is that almost every one offers direct contact with the valley. Easy access and proximity to urban centers are complemented by modern lift facilities. Almost every Slovenian ski resort is also characterized by smallness and diversity.

The ski slope Kanin-Sella Nevea is the first international ski center in the wider region. The ski slopes Kanin and Sella Nevea became one thanks to the extension of the new cableway system. The connected ski slope Kanin-Sella Nevea has a single ski pass, which allows access to the ski slope from both the Slovenian and Italian sides. The connected ski area is the largest far and wide, here the ski season runs until the first days of May.
altitude of the ski slope : 1140 - 2300 m
Area : 70 ha

Kranjska Gora: The ski resort, altitude (bottom station at 813 m), is located directly on the main road just across the Austrian border. The mostly easy to intermediate slopes in Kranjska Gora and Gozd Martuljek are suitable for beginners and recreational skiers, but the black slope in Pokdoren is reserved for very good skiers.
altitude of the ski slope : 810-1295 m
Area : 125 ha

Kobla is the only Slovenian ski resort that can be reached directly by train. The access to the ski resort is on the outskirts of Bohinjska Bistrica. A village that is considered the origin of Slovenian ski tourism. Since the lower cableways are very low, a sophisticated snowmaking system guarantees consistently white slopes at appropriate temperatures, which will please even demanding skiers who love long and fast slopes.

The location makes it possible that the ski resort Vogel has an absolute snow guarantee and therefore the winter season lasts from December to the beginning of May. In fact, the ski resort is part of the first mountain barrier on the way from the Adriatic Sea to the Alps, therefore much more snow falls here than elsewhere in the Alps at the same altitude. The unique atmosphere of the high mountains with the unique panoramic view of the Triglav National Park and Lake Bohinj give the ski resort a special charm. Plenty of sunshine, unique panorama, well prepared ski slopes guarantee full skiing pleasure.
