Lake Bohinj
Bohinj is the ideal choice for nature lovers, as you can experience the charms of Alpine hiking and at the same time refresh yourself in the largest natural lake in Slovenia. From there, a beautiful path leads to the enchanting Savica waterfall and further to the nearby mountains, where you can enjoy the pleasures of the eyes and palate of the Alps.

Lake Bled
The famous island in the middle of the lake. Fairytale beauty surrounded by green mountains. Take a traditional Pletna boat to the island, which boasts a magnificent Gothic church. Don't forget to ring the wishing bell! Take a walk by the lake and let your eyes wander over the water and the nearby mountains, and finish off with an original Bled cream cake.

The Triglav Lakes
A beautiful excursion point in the middle of the mountains are the Triglav Lakes, also called the "Valley of the Seven Lakes". In addition to seven larger lakes that are constantly filled with water, there are several smaller ones that dry up from time to time, so that you get a slightly different view of the lakes every time. The lakes inspire with their natural richness of colors - hence the names Zeleno jezero (Green Lake), Rjavo jezero (Brown Lake) and Črno jezero (Black Lake).

Zelenci
Stroll along the wooden walkway to the lake and further through the marshy surroundings. An unforgettable experience awaits you. Many interesting plant species have found a home in this nature reserve, including the carnivorous sundew. The fauna is abundant, especially in the form of lizards and nesting birds.

Lorenc Lakes
One of the most striking natural creations in the Pohorje Mountains are the Lorenc Lakes, which are scattered like small windows across the extensive peat bog area. Wandering across the soft grass and mossy areas of the bog, you can marvel at rare plants and enjoy magnificent views. The most beautiful is offered by the wooden lookout tower on the shore of the highest lake.

Lake Planšar
Lake Planšar in Jezersko could also be called "Lake of Love" because of its heart shape. It reminds of the former glacial lake after which the place Jezersko was named. Surrounded by the striking peaks of the Stein Alps, the lake is an ideal place for dreaming.

Seepage lakes of Pivka
Discover the wonders of karst nature and visit the seepage lakes of Pivka. A whole 17 lakes are scattered here over just 15 kilometers as the crow flies - a phenomenon unique in Europe. The largest is Palško jezero. The lakes are characterized by an extraordinary diversity of species. The entire lake area is protected as a landscape park. The best insight into the formation of the lakes and life on their shores can be gained at the Ecomuseum in Pivka.
