Discover the Dolomites gently on the move: In Val d'Ega there are the perfect conditions. From the Latemar circumnavigation by mountain bike to the Karer See tour or the bike trails...

Bike to the starting point of the hike, cover part of the altitude by train - bike transport is no problem with the modern lift facilities - and return by bus. More soft mobility does not go.

Bike highlight "Latemar Ronda

On this tour you cycle once around the imposing rock massif of the Latemar and thus experience the mountain from all sides. What sounds like a sporty undertaking for the fittest bikers becomes an experience for the whole family thanks to lift support. Because depending on whether you ride the classic clockwise or counterclockwise, lifts save the biggest climbs. The postcard-like alpine pastures and impressive mountain views, as well as culinary refreshments in the huts are there for everyone. The starting and finishing point of the Latemar circuit is always Obereggen.

Fun riders, on the other hand, will be delighted with the "Carezza Trail", which is only accessible to bikers.
The cable car takes you up there. The flow fun begins at the Frommer Alm at the foot of the Rosengarten at 1740 meters and leads through the idyllic Nigertal back to Welschnofen. The trail offers everything a biker's heart desires over 4.4 kilometers: about 500 meters of altitude descent, with an average gradient of about 11 percent, on northshores up to 70 meters long and more than 45 bends and steep curves. For even more variety for experienced riders, the Carezza Pumpline provides an alternative downhill route. The riding technique practice area at the top station of the Welschnofen gondola lift was created especially for beginners and children, while the 3500 square meter Bike Park in Deutschnofen is a training park for both beginners and experienced riders - with hairpin turns, skill courses, jumps and stairs.

Val d'Ega offers a lot of riding fun at all levels of difficulty. The high plateau is developed by wide forest roads, which are doable with little altitude effort. Even those who like it more alpine and steeper will find what they are looking for. Not only the unique scenic location in the middle of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage makes biking a special experience. The perfect framework conditions such as e-charging stations, bike cabs, knowledgeable guides, seven rental points and five e-bike sharing stations ensure even more flexibility in tour planning, which is child's play thanks to the GPS tour portal.
