Tignes-Val d'Isère, one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the Alps. Experience 300 km of slopes, the main mountain Bellevarde and the snow park at 2,500 m as a special attraction.

Winter in Val d'Isère: imagine a huge, radiant gorge surrounded by impressive, towering mountains whose snow-covered slopes drop gracefully to the valley below. With its wide variety of slopes, all well marked, equipped and meticulously maintained, this vast area offers skiers a choice of some fifty peaks ranging from 2,600 to 3,400 meters in altitude.

Val d'Isère is a lively ski resort and also offers a wide range of special winter experiences such as snooc sledding, dog sledding, mountain biking in the snow, ice swimming, moon biking, snowmobiling, ice skating, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. You can also plan a guided tour of the village, which is still very much in its original state, or actually visit the farm.

Seasonal highlights include the Critérium de la Première Neige and Christmas Magic in December, the Classicaval Festival in January, the Altigliss Challenge in March and the Scara Race in April.

Thanks to numerous "almost four-thousand-meter peaks" that surround the ski resort of Val-d'Isère, especially the freeride and off-piste opportunities have become almost legendary. The most prominent of these peaks is undoubtedly the 3,656-meter Grande Motte, on whose glacier slopes are also the highest slopes in the ski area. It is not without reason that every year - traditionally in December - several ski races take place on the slopes around Val d'Isère as part of the Alpine Ski World Cup.
