The 16th season of the Ski Classics in Bad Gastein will open on December 14 with a new race format.
The "flat ITT" is a single start race over 7 kilometers on flat terrain, in which the participants start at intervals of 20 to 60 seconds depending on the group division and can score 200 points for the overall ranking. The day before (13.12.), the team presentation of the new Ski Classics season will take place in Bad Gastein with the presentation of the Pro Teams and their athletes.
With the "Raiffeisen Gastein Classics", there will once again be a challenger competition for professional and amateur cross-country skiers on this race weekend. The start of this mass start race in classic technique is on Saturday afternoon, December 14. There will be competitions over 30 and 15 kilometers for men and women.
