Seven Christmas markets, over 200 stalls and a 14-metre-high crystal tree - if you want to experience Advent in Tyrol, Innsbruck's mountain Christmas has plenty of choice, from the Golden Roof to the Hungerburg 300 meters above the city.

Tradition and modernity, mountain experiences and urban diversity attract visitors to the Alpine city with a heart! Innsbruck impresses with 200 Christmas stalls at its six Christmas markets.

Bright eyes everywhere
The youngest visitors will probably have the most fun at the Christmas market on Innsbruck's market square. With Punch and Judy shows and storytelling sessions, a carousel and a petting zoo... In the fairy tale and giant alley, the lovingly designed life-size fairy tale, giant and legendary figures come to life every year and give the little ones unforgettable moments.

Whether it's the daily Punch and Judy show or a ride on the nostalgic carousel - the Christkindlmarkt Marktplatz delights young visitors with a varied program. A sparkling eye-catcher in the middle of the quaint market: the 14-metre-high Swarovski crystal tree with over 170,500 Swarovski crystals towers like something out of a fairy tale and forms the focal point of the market.
