St. Nicholas, Christmas and New Year's fairs as well as numerous open-air concerts and parties liven up Leon Štukelj Square throughout December. The children's program takes place in the Elf Town.

BLED

From November 28, the town on the famous Lake Bled will once again become a winter wonderland! The Christmas season will be "lit up" with the festive illumination on the Jezerska promenade. Once again, all children will have the opportunity to write a letter to Santa Claus and for all adults, local craftspeople will be selling and surprising them with many a regional delicacy.
Not to be missed: the exhibition of life-size nativity scenes, the oversized Christmas chair under the largest natural Christmas tree in Slovenia...
On Advent Sundays, the Advent candles are lit in the spa park, accompanied by performances by various choirs.
One of the most beautiful events in Bled is the performance of the legend of the sunken bell. This traditionally takes place on Christmas Day.
KRANJSKA GORA

The festive December atmosphere in Kranjska Gora will be especially magical this year, as the series of holiday events entitled "Magical Kranjska Gora" begins. A varied program will provide entertainment every weekend, and events will take place every day between 25 and 31 December. Only in December can you enjoy more than 30 different events in Kranjska Gora. The New Year's Eve party with the Sašo Avsenik ensemble, which will bring visitors to the Victory Square in Kranjska Gora into the New Year with a joint countdown, music and a great atmosphere, will ensure a glamorous end to December.

In December, Ljubljana wraps itself in a very special atmosphere. The whole city is bathed in festive lights. The scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds wafts through its streets accompanied by Christmas melodies. The banks of the Ljubljanica and the larger markets and squares are lined with stalls and become the setting for numerous interesting events.
