The Liechtenstein Trail can also be easily explored by bike. The 85 kilometers are best divided into 3 relaxed stages. So get on the saddle and let the adventure begin.
The cycle route deviates slightly from the hiking route in some places, but you will still pass all of the country's attractions and sights. LIEmobil organizes and operates the nationwide bike rental system LIEbike. The e-bike sharing system allows you to reach your destination quickly and easily. You can also rent a bike at the Liechtenstein Center in Vaduz. And if the battery of your e-bike is running low, you will find charging stations along the route.
Owners of gravel bikes (more off-road than a racing bike, lighter than a mountain bike) will appreciate the routes. Here you can really test the potential of your bike.
The starting point is in Balzers, the southernmost municipality in Liechtenstein. The route then takes a leisurely ride to the old village center of Triesen and from there up to the Walser village of Triesenberg. The finale of the cycle route takes cyclists to the Liechtenstein capital of Vaduz.
