Through the wild Samina Valley
The trail through the longest Rätikon valley at the foot of the Three Sisters is a dream tour. The valley, which is also known as the soul of Liechtenstein's Alpine waters, is well worth a visit, especially in the fall when the first snow falls on the mountains and the valley shines in golden autumn leaves.
Out and about on the Liechtenstein Trail
In the Principality of Liechtenstein, hikers can explore an entire country in just a few days on the Liechtenstein Trail and get to know it in depth. The Liechtenstein Trail runs for 75 kilometers through all 11 municipalities of the country, past idyllic vineyards, nature reserves, old village centers, many sights and is peppered with magnificent views.
With the free LIstory app, 147 selected historical sites and places of interest are linked by the Liechtenstein Trail to form one big whole. The trail leads up and down from south to north or vice versa. The Liechtenstein Trail can be accessed from any municipality.
To the summit cross of the Alpspitz
The panoramic Alpspitz rises above Bärgälla, the Fürstensteig, the most famous mountain hiking trail in the Rätikon, leads through the western flank - a first-class tour full of contrasts and surprises.
Galinakopf panoramic mountain
The Galinakopf is considered one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in Liechtenstein. The ascent, although extensive, is varied and leads gently up and down along pleasant mountain paths and tracks. The descent to Steg leads through the wild and romantic Valorschtal valley, where, with a bit of luck, you can hear the roaring of the stags during the rutting season.
High trail on the Eschnerberg
The high-altitude trail has a special charm at any time of year. We overlook the Rhine Valley, the mountains of the Rätikon, the Alvier Group and the Alpstein. Wayside shrines and crosses bear witness to popular piety.
The Princess Gina Trail
The Fürstin-Gina-Weg is a wonderful mountain hike from Malbun to the highest point, the 2359 m high Augstenberg. From there, you are rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view of the Falkniskette and the Schesaplanastock as well as down to Malbun, Gamperdona and Valüna. If you still haven't had enough, you can reach the Pfälzerhütte on the Austrian border from here in around 1 hour.
