In winter, the Alpwell Hotel and therefore also the hotel's wellness area remain closed. However, the new chalet panorama sauna with relaxation room is also open for you in winter.

Some of the most beautiful ski tours from Tisens lead to the idyllic Laugen panoramic mountain.
The five ski areas in the region can also be reached in a short time from Tesimo/Tisens. For example, the Merano 2000 ski area (30 minutes by car), the Schwemmalm (40 minutes by car), Pfelders (80 minutes by car) or the Schnals glacier area (60 minutes by car). And after a varied day in the snow, you can relax in the Merano thermal baths.

While the hiking trails around Tisens - Prissian , such as the path to Naraun and St. Hippolyt or to Grissian and St. Jakob, often remain free of snow and allow sunshine hikes even in winter, the paths around the Laugen or towards the Gampen Pass lead into the idyllic snow-covered high mountains.

The village center with stores and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. There are numerous ski areas and winter hiking trails in the surrounding area, for example on the Vigiljoch or on Meran 2000.
At Christmas time, the beautiful Christmas markets are also worth a visit. The Thalerhof Marktl in Lana or the Meraner Weihnacht in Merano attract visitors with music, Christmas treats and handicrafts...
