Barbiano plum weeks

The Barbiano plum has been an important part of Barbiano's cultivation culture since the late Middle Ages. That's why the "village with the leaning tower" is dedicating two weeks to the delicious blue fruit. From August 10 to September 14, 2025, the restaurants in Barbiano will spoil you with dishes based on the Barbiano plum and you can buy special products such as plum bread, jam, plum strudel and much more in the stores.

During the plum weeks there are also guided plum excursions in Barbiano, you can learn all sorts of interesting facts about Barbiano's delicacies on the plum trail and enjoy great plum dishes during a stop-off.
