KUFSTEINERLAND CYCLING MARATHON
On Sunday, August 23, 2026, the Kufsteinerland Cycle Marathon enters the next round! Whether ambitious racing cyclists or hobby cyclists - Kufsteinerland shows its sportiest side on three varied routes
With 120 kilometers and 1,800 meters of altitude, the marathon circuit is the sporting flagship of the event. The Lakes Circuit (95 km | 1,160 m elevation gain) is somewhat more moderate, but no less attractive. Like the cycle marathon, this route begins with an easy climb to Vorderthiersee before the steep ascent to Hinterthiersee provides the first endurance test. The panoramic loop (48 km | 400 m elevation gain) is the perfect choice for leisure cyclists. The route leads via Langkampfen and Mariastein to Breitenbach before heading back to Kufstein via Angerberg along the Inn loop. In 2025, this route will also be offered as an e-bike route for the first time
